Nestled on the Sunshine Coast, we offer whimsical dance classes specially designed for children aged 2 to 5 years.

Created by our passionate Director, Chelsea Cook, and backed by over a decade of teaching experience in early childhood dance, our programs weave together movement, music, and storytelling to spark creativity and joy. Each class is a heartwarming journey that nurtures coordination, confidence, and friendships in a playful and encouraging environment.

Our Programs

  • Duration: 30 minutes

    Fees: $15/class (+GST)

    Our Team Tinys class is a joyful, shared experience for little ones and their parents or carers. This fun and engaging 30-minute session is all about exploring music, movement, and dance together in a relaxed and supportive setting.

    Designed for both boys and girls, the class encourages early coordination, listening skills, and confidence through playful exercises and the use of repetition. This familiar structure helps young children feel secure while gradually gaining the freedom to participate more independently. A touch of variety keeps things fresh and exciting along the way with new themes introduced every 5 weeks. 

    Class sizes are kept small to ensure a nurturing experience for every dancer. And just like all of our programs at Tutu Cute Dance, your first trial class is absolutely FREE!

  • Duration: 30 minutes

    Fees: $16/class (+GST)

    Our Team Tots program is perfect for little dancers ready to take their first independent steps into the world of dance. These 30-minute classes focus on building confidence, coordination, and creativity through imaginative movement and age-appropriate dance foundations.

    Children are encouraged to participate on their own, which helps foster independence and social skills in a warm and supportive environment.

    Each class includes playful repetition with just the right amount of variety to keep young minds engaged and excited to return with new themes introduced every 5 weeks. This class a beautiful next step for children growing in confidence and curiosity whilst having fun. 

    As always, class sizes are limited for quality interaction - and your first trial class is FREE!

  • Duration: 45 minutes

    Fees: $17/class (+GST)

    Team Twinkles is a magical class for curious children who love to move, imagine, and express themselves. In this 45-minute session, children enjoy a mix of dance, music, and storytelling designed to spark creativity and build coordination in a joyful, supportive setting.

    The class gently introduces more structure while still keeping things light-hearted and fun. Dancers explore movement patterns, follow simple routines, and develop listening and social skills - all while having a wonderful time with friends.

    Small class sizes ensure every child feels seen and encouraged. And of course, your first trial class is FREE!

About Miss Chelsea

Teacher & Director

With over a decade of experience teaching dance to the early childhood age group, Miss Chelsea is passionate about creating a joyful, nurturing space where little ones can explore movement, build confidence, and let their imaginations shine.

A professionally trained dancer, Chelsea began her dance journey at the age of four, training across all major genres. She was accepted into the Queensland Youth Ballet touring company in her youth and later earned her Advanced Diploma in Dance from the Australian Dance Performance Institute in Brisbane, under the guidance of the esteemed Harold Collins - former principal dancer and later artistic director of the Queensland Ballet.

Her professional career has taken her around the world, including time as a feature dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines, working with top international choreographers from Las Vegas, London, and Miami. A highlight was performing alongside Las Vegas master illusionist, Jason Byrne as both a featured dancer and magician’s assistant. 

Today, as the proud Director of Tutu Cute Dance, Chelsea brings all her sparkle and stage experience into a world made just for tiny feet and big imaginations. Her greatest joy is watching little ones take their very first twirls, guiding them gently as they discover the wonder of movement, music, and make-believe. With each giggle, skip, and twirl, Chelsea helps plant the seeds of confidence, creativity, and most importantly - a lifelong love of dance.

  • Classes at Tutu Cute Dance are offered on a term basis to provide structure and consistency for our little dancers. Casual classes aren't available, however if you're joining mid-term, you'll only be charged for the remaining classes (after your free trial).

  • No worries at all! You’ll only be invoiced for the number of classes left in the term following your free trial class.

  • We keep it fun and flexible - no uniforms required! Your child can wear anything they feel comfy and confident in. Think:

    • Leggings and a t-shirt

    • A tutu or ballet leotard

    • Their favourite costume 

    • Bare feet are welcome

    Ballet shoes will be available for purchase at class, however there is no obligation to buy - our focus is on fun! 

  • That’s completely okay - and very common! New spaces and new faces can feel a little overwhelming at first. That’s exactly why we offer a free trial class and welcome parents into the room. Some little ones need a few visits to feel fully comfortable, and that’s perfectly normal. Just being in the space, soaking up the music and energy, often helps - and before you know it, they’ll be twirling along with the rest of the class!

  • Absolutely! We’re proud to be one of the few dance schools that encourage parents to stay and watch (in fact it is mandatory for them to have a guardian in the room with them). We believe it's magical for parents to be part of the joy and progress their little ones experience each week. 

  • Yes, little siblings are welcome to tag along! To keep the class flowing smoothly, we kindly ask that you bring along toys or quiet activities to keep them entertained, so they don't distract the dancers.
