This unique program was designed by dance educators from the Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD), catering specifically for children aged 2 – 5 years old. Toddler’s & Pre-schooler’s will enjoy exploring movement, mime, music, magic, make-believe and much more, every class!
At Tutu Cute Dance, students are nurtured, supported and encouraged in a safe & positive environment, whilst enjoying a quality program. This program aims at developing skills of coordination, social and interactive skills, musical appreciation, movement, fitness and most importantly, a sense of self through creativity and imagination.

Our Programs
Tutu Tinys – 2yrs to 3.5yrs
(Imagine ‘You & Me’ Program)
Duration: 30 minutes
Fees: $13/class
Our Tutu Tinys program is offered to Parents/Carers & their little ones. This fun & interactive class is a great opportunity to share in your child’s experience, helping them explore different types of music, dance & movement, in an environment that is relaxed and positive.
Tutu Twinkles – 3.5yrs to 5yrs
(Imagine ‘Me & My Friends’ Program)
Duration: 45 minutes
Fees: $16/class
Our Tutu Twinkles program is specifically aimed at the preschool age group. Classes contain structured and non-structured activities developing basic concepts of dance and movement. Children become independent learners in this class and work under the guidelines of the teacher, within the class or with other students.
Tap Twinkles – 3yrs to 5yrs
Duration: 30 minutes
Fees: $13/class
Our Tap Twinkles class is an introduction to tap dancing. Classes will follow the ATOD Tap Syllabi – Pre Levels 1, 2 & 3. The aim of this wonderful program is to introduce small children to the magic & fun of tap dancing, teaching them them basic rhythms, timing & tap steps, all in a fun & relaxed environment.
Tutu Twisters – 5yrs to 6yrs
Duration: 45 minutes
Fees: $16/class
Our Tutu Twisters class is aimed at children who are in Prep at school. Classes follow the ATOD Syllabi – Pre Levels 1, 2 & 3, aiming to bridge the gap between our younger ‘Imagine’ classes & a more traditional ballet class. Whilst children of this age are still quite young, the focus of these classes are aimed at developing the basic concepts of classical ballet, yet still in a fun & imaginative environment.
Tutu Treasures – 5yrs to 7yrs
Duration: 45 minutes
Fees: $16/class
Our Tutu Treasures class follows the ATOD Syllabi – Levels 1, 2 & 3 and students are either in Prep or Grade 1 at school. At this age, students will perform exercises in the centre & are also introduced to the ballet barre, which is a very exciting time for any budding ballerina.
Tap Treasures – 5yrs to 7yrs
Duration: 45 minutes
Fees: $16/class
Our Tap Treasures class follows the ATOD Tap Syllabi – Levels 1, 2 & 3. Children will learn basic rhythms, timing & tap steps through exercises that enable them to explore space, develop their musically, social skills & improve their coordination.
Fees & Trial Classes
Fees are due on a termly basis, 7 days after invoices have been issued. Classes are not offered casually, they are a termly commitment. No refunds are given for missed lessons, unless Tutu Cute Dance cancels a program, in which case you will receive a refund for classes missed due to this cancellation. If you miss a class, credit cannot be transferred to the next term, however you are welcome to do a make-up class at another venue during the current term, so your child does not miss out.
About Our Director
Chelsea Cook (Miss Chelsea)
Teacher & Director
Chelsea’s vision for Tutu Cute Dance is to offer a safe and nurturing environment, where every individual is given the opportunity to explore their creative selves, develop awareness and grow in confidence.
Chelsea is a professional dancer, now dance teacher, who has trained in all genres of dance since the age of 4. Growing up, she was accepted into the Queensland Youth Ballet touring company and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Dance, at the Australian Dance Performance Institute in Brisbane. Here she studied under the direction of the prestigious Harold Collins, former principal dancer and later artistic director of the Queensland Ballet.
More recently, Chelsea was employed as a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines. She worked with international choreographers and dancers from Las Vegas, London and Miami, including Paul Roberts, who currently works and produces film clips for One Direction, Robbie Williams and Katy Perry.
Chelsea is a vibrant and enthusiastic person, whose greatest fulfillment is sharing her experience, passion and pure love of dance, with people of all ages, believing, ‘you should never miss a chance to dance!’
